Calling all breakfast foodies! Whether you’re an early riser or you have to peel yourself out of bed before noon, there are undoubtedly some awesome spots for breakfast in & around Jackson that you’ll want to wake up for.
We took the liberty of trying them all for you (tough job) so we could be sure and give you the inside scoop on what to order (and because well, we love breakfast too). Check out our list of the top spots around Jackson for that first meal of the day, then let us know your favorites.
Top Breakfast Spots in Jackson Hole
MMM Café
You didn’t think we’d leave ourselves off the list, right?? Not to toot our own horns, but we have a pretty kick ass all-day grab n’ go menu, featuring items such as the BYO Breakfast Sandwich and yummy comfort food like mac n’ cheese, chicken pot pie or pizza. We’ve also got specialty coffee, organic teas and other delish beverages like hot chocolate. Oh, and did we mention we’re now serving Provisions Donuts every morning?? Persephone Bakery
This French café run by a husband-and-wife team is so trés chic it looks like it jumped straight off a Pinterest board. Think modern country style with mismatched chairs, neutral colors and of course, lots of amazing smelling treats! It’s THE place to go for a memorable sit-down breakfast, but you better get there early enough to score a table. Aside from fresh baked pastries and artisan breads, Persephone boasts a mouthwatering breakfast menu. For the savory tastebuds, try the Shakshuka or Seeded Avocado Bowl, and for the sweet tooth in you, check out the Belgian Leige Waffles or indulge in the Bread Pudding French Toast. Persephone sells adorable merch too, which you can check out in person or order on their website.

Cafe Genevieve
Just off of Town Square is an adorable little log cabin that houses this gem. It’ll lure you in with its cozy, welcoming ambiance year round, and when the weather permits, the outdoor dining is fantastic. They serve breakfast every day until 3 p.m. (hello sleepyheads!) and they start Jackson’s earliest happy hour at 3 p.m. Their style is home-cooking, so expect southern-inspired comfort faves like Biscuits & Cajun Gravy, Fried Chicken & Waffles and Grits & Eggs.
Wise Guide Tip: Try a side of Pig Candy: literally, “pig” candy – thick applewood smoked bacon, coated with a blend of sugars and spices and baked low-and-slow in house daily.

Pearl Street Bagels
Pearl is a local’s fave, and it’s not hard to see why. They’ve been in biz serving authentic boiled & baked bagels since 1990. In addition to bagels, they have sandwiches, salads, cookies, muffins, organic coffee, and a full espresso bar. They also offer fresh fruit smoothies during the summer and homemade soups throughout the winter. Need your caffeine fix? They’re consistently voted the locals’ favorite coffee shop.
Wise Guide Tip: They brew a mean Green Tea Latte, and if you like little spice in your life try the Mexican cream cheese.

Corbet’s Cabin
There is no better place to enjoy waffles than Corbet’s Cabin – no, seriously. Located at the top of the Aerial Tram, Corbet’s is one of those must-dos and it does not disappoint: there’s just something about made-to-order, melt-in-your-mouth waffles served at 10,450 feet. Whether you hiked up or enjoyed a scenic tram ride, reward yourself with a treat and killer views from the deck. Choose from four waffles: The Gateway: Peanut butter and bacon, Italian: Nutella and strawberries, Englishman: Lemon glaze, powdered sugar and whipped cream or Traditional: Brown sugar and butter.

Picnic
Located just 3 minutes from downtown Jackson, Picnic was recently voted Best New Restaurant by JH Locals. A sister restaurant to Persephone, menu picks include Toasts, Bowls and lovingly-named specials such as the “Summer Hippie”. Picnic stocks locals’ favorite pastries handmade by Persephone Bakery, as well as their own versions of American classics like pop tarts and whoopee pies (drool).
Wise Guide Tip: Enjoy a mimosa or Bloody Mary and try the SNF pork & eggs toast. Oh, and treat yourself to something sweet, baked fresh daily and delivered by Persephone.
