Jackson Hole Summer Music Is Just Heating Up

Visiting Jackson Hole in the summer brings the added bonus of a great music scene. Spend your days hiking, biking and seeing the beautiful sites and then head back to town for the best in live music. Here are just a few venues to check out.

Jackson Hole Live!

Bring your blanket or lawn chair and pick your spot on the grassy area at the Snow King Ball Park. The next Jackson Hole Live! the concert is on Friday, July 19 with Hayes Carll and local artists Sister Karee & The Other Brothers. There’s great music all summer long and all for a good cause. The concert series is a benefit for Youth Hockey and Skating Programs at the Snow King Sports & Events Center. This outdoor concert event is just $5 and kids 17 and under are free!

Grand Teton Music Festival

We usually think of festivals as happening for 2-3 days, but Grand Teton Music Festival is a complete summertime calendar full of amazing music. The list includes chamber music, a family concert series, orchestras and on July 21, it’s nine-time Grammy Award winner Norah Jones! The majority of the Festival’s summer concerts take place in Walk Festival Hall at the base of the Jackson Hole Ski Resort, located in the heart of Teton Village.

The Silver Dollar Showroom

A great lineup of bands plays at the Showroom inside the Silver Dollar Bar at the Wort Hotel, just one block from Town Square. There’s a wide variety of genres to choose from, with bands almost every night of the week. Best of all, there’s a standing Tuesday bluegrass show with One Ton Pig, a local Jackson Hole band.

Million Dollar Cowboy Bar

Bring your boots and get ready to dance. Right in the heart of downtown, the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar is the ultimate in western atmosphere, complete with saddles for bar stools. With its rich history in Jackson, you can expect the best in live music to match. The talent on the lineup is American Idol caliber with Britnee Kellogg coming in August.

Check out other music venues in the area. Summer music is everywhere around Jackson!
