Experience The Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival

The 37th annual Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival and Art Auction will run September 8 – 19, 2021. Known as the premier arts festival of the Rocky Mountain west, artists and art enthusiasts alike gather for this iconic event to experience internationally acclaimed artists, music, food, wine and more in beautiful Jackson Hole.

The “FAF” draws hundreds of visitors to our valley each year. Experience a wide variety of work from both local and world-renowned artists, including sculptures, photographers, and painters and more. Here’s a quick snapshot of this year’s itinerary:

Western Design Conference Open Preview Party + Fashion Show

Early entry into the Exhibit + Sale allows a first glance at one-of-a-kind creations in furniture, fashion, jewelry, home and lifestyle accessories. Meet and shop with this year’s artisans and exhibitors, walk through the Designer Show House, experience a Runway Fashion Show and participate in the live auction while enjoying local culinary creations by Genevieve Catering and signature cocktails during a festive night of shopping and entertainment.

The Ancient Law – Silent Film Showing with Live Orchestra

The Ancient Law (Das alte Gesetz) is a restored silent film masterpiece from Germany with live music composed and performed by world-famous klezmer violinist Alicia Svigals (co-founder of the Grammy-winning Klezmatics) and pianist Donald Sosin, a silent film music legend.

Carrie Wild Solo Show – Pigments of the Imagination

“Pigments of the Imagination” will feature new works from her well known wildlife and colorful abstract landscapes along with her newest series of paintings called “Rendezvous.” As a Jackson Hole native, Carrie is fortunate to wake up in a place full of inspiration and to be able to spend hours in the field watching, photographing and learning about her subjects. Her artistic style combined with field experience gives her an amazing ability to capture the essence of the wildlife and landscapes of the area. Please join us in an evening of drinks, inspiration and great conversation!

Diehl Gallery is pleased to welcome Malcolm Furlow as our newest artist and to celebrate this wonderful addition to our existing stable with a solo exhibition. Furlow’s work draws heavily from his Choctaw heritage, featuring Native American, or as Furlow prefers, Indian themes and figures depicted in bold palettes. We are thrilled to represent him at Diehl Gallery.

This local artist fair occurs Sunday, September 12 during the Fall Arts Festival. This juried fair features 50+ local creatives and includes some of Jackson’s finest artists, selling an artwork in an array of mediums. Fall Arts Festival posters and wine bottles will be available for sale throughout this event.

Come meet and interact with the artists of the 2021 Jackson Hole QuickDraw! Nationally and internationally acclaimed Western, wildlife, and landscape artists will gather on the rooftop of the Cloudveil Hotel for one-on-one interaction with art lovers and buyers. Present among the aritsts will be 2021 Fall Arts Festival featured artist, Gary Lynn Roberts of West Lives On Gallery, who can discuss the inspiration behind his featured piece, The Wort Hotel. Western Visions® is the National Museum of Wildlife Art’s largest and longest-running fundraiser and is one of the signature events of the Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival. Top contemporary wildlife artists – and collectors – from around the world will be congregating at the Museum in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The show features a wide selection of art for sale and the money raised from this fundraiser supports the Museum. The week’s events, offered at the Museum’s award-winning facility across from the National Elk Refuge, draw an international crowd to this critically acclaimed gathering.

The Jackson Hole Art Auction

The Jackson Hole Art Auction supports hundreds of pieces from world-renowned artists and is a favorite of art collectors from around the world.

With a 2020 selling record of 92%, this year’s event is sure to be one of the best. Here’s what you need to know before booking your trip for the Jackson Hole Art Auction.


When Is It?

This year’s event will be held on September 17th and 18th. The artwork will be available for preview on Thursday before the auction begins. The auction itself will begin on Saturday and run through Sunday afternoon.


What Types of Art Will Be Auctioned?
