Best 2-Day Trip to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort

So you have 2 days in Jackson and want to know how to make the best of your trip. We’ll give you a few suggestions and provide plenty of links to check out more so you can plan your trip to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort!

Jackson Hole Itinerary: Day 1

Ski and Snowboard Rental

No need to haul your skis and snowboards on top of the car or on the plane. Jackson Hole Ski Rentals and Ski Butlers let you reserve your gear online and then will deliver it right to your room when you arrive and do a custom fit so you’re ready for your day on the slopes. At the end of your trip, they’ll return and pick up all the gear. So easy!

If you prefer, you can also rent skis and snowboards online or in person at these shops recommended by Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.

Transporation to JHMR

At Mountain Modern, we make your trip stress free by providing you a free shuttle from the hotel to the Resort.  For the early risers, the first shuttle leaves at 7:30am followed by one at 8:45am and 10:00am. You can grab the shuttle back at 3:00pm, 4:30pm or 6:00pm.

Mountain Sports School

If there is someone in your group who’s new to skiing or snowboarding, or just wants to brush up on their technique before hitting the slopes, JH Mountain Resort’s well-trained instructors are ready to make your trip the best it can be through the Mountain Sports School. There are classes for kids and adults, group or private lessons, and they offer half or full-day classes.

On-Mountain Dining

The best thing about coming to spend a day on the slopes is access to dining right on the slopes. No need to go all the way down the mountain just to get lunch. The Trail Map shows you the location of Casper Restaurant (Sweetwater Gondola), Rendezvous Lodge & Piste Mountain Bistro (Bridger Gondola) plus other options.

Jackson Hole Itinerary: Day 2

Top of the World Waffles

To have the full experience of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, make your first stop of the day to Corbet’s Cabin at the top of Rendezvous Peak. They’re famous for the size of the waffles and the flavors! Try the Gateway (peanut butter and bacon), the Englishman (lemon glaze with powdered sugar and whip cream), the Italian (Nutella) or the Traditional (brown sugar butter). YUM! The Cabin is at the top of a 10,450 peak  that’s only a 12-minute ride and the view is amazing. You can ride the tram back down if the expert black runs at the top aren’t in your plan for the day.

Visit The Village

Teton Village provides shops, restaurants, and a spa to finish off your trip. After hitting the slopes for part of day 2, take time to treat yourself at The River Spa. Make an appointment for a massage to restore those aching muscles. Stop for a bite to eat at the Mangy Moose and have fun looking around at the special decor. You can also strap on some skates and take a spin around the Village Rink on the Commons.
