Art Events You Can’t Miss this Fall

Plan to be in Jackson Hole September 4-15 for the Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival. In its 35th year, this festival is filled with good food, fine wine, lots of music, and breathtaking art. This is the cultural event of the year, drawing local, national and international artists! More than just displays of art, this festival allows you to immerse yourself in the arts in a variety of ways.

Gallery Walk and “Meet the Artists”

Palates and Palettes Gallery Walk provides an amazing opportunity for you to stroll between art galleries, enjoying food, wine, and music. Be sure to stop at the galleries that have artist receptions, where you can personally meet artists and learn about their inspiration in an intimate setting. Check out the full list of this year’s participating galleries here.

Western Design Exhibit

Imagine shopping in one place with over 100 artisans showcasing furniture, fashion, jewelry, and accessories. The Western Design Exhibit will be held September 5-8 at the Snow King Center. This is a special opportunity to find the perfect piece of decor for your home or office. Or maybe you’re looking for that unique outfit or piece of jewelry. Don’t miss this 4-day event. You’re sure to find something special.

Taste of the Tetons and Sips on the Square

Come to Jackson Town Square for the Taste of the Tetons. This is a full-day event where you can mingle with the artists, buy your favorite art, and enjoy great cuisine by the local chefs, restaurants, and caterers. Alongside this is Sips on the Square. Enjoy wine, beer and spirits tasting plus a silent auction. This makes for a great way to spend a day in beautiful downtown Jackson.

Jackson Hole Showcase of Homes

Western art cannot only be enjoyed as a piece of art, but also as a living space. And you have an opportunity to see the beauty of western living through the Showcase of Homes tour. This is a self-guided tour on Friday, September 13. The ‘artisans’ will include design professionals in interior design, landscape design, architecture, and construction. This is all for a good cause as this year’s ticket sales go to support the Grand Teton National Park Foundation

This is only a small sample of the events taking place over 12 days. For a complete festival calendar, visit the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce. Enjoy!
