Teton County Fair

July 20 – 28, 2024 – Yeehaw! There’s nothing like a good ole county fair to really make you feel like you’re in the good ole west. There are lots of paid events over this week, but there are also petting zoos, 4-H events, dog shows, live raptor programs and more.

Town Square Shootout

The Jackson Hole Shootout has been a Wyoming tradition since 1957. The fun begins at 6pm every summer evening, except Sundays – cause there’s no shootin’ on Sundays!

Teton Boulder Park

Located at the base of Snow King Mountain, this free bouldering park features three large boulders/walls for all ages and skill levels. There is also a small pcnic shlter with eight picnic tables, horseshoe pits and green space for recreational activities.

National Elk Refuge & Greater Yellowstone Visitor Center

Open 8am to 7pm during the summer months. Located on the north end of town of Jackson, the center offers exhibits and programs and activities for all ages.

Disc Golf in Teton Village

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort’s FREE 27 hole disc golf course has it all – short and tight technical shots, wide open downhill shots, and all with fantastic views of the Aerial Tram, Gros Ventre and Teton mountains. Come check out our ever-improving disc golf course, and add a little Frisbee to your life.

Directions: Park in the Village Lot and begin at hole 1 near the ropes course and Sweetwater Gondola.

Ride the Bridger Gondola

Free Gondola rides start at 5pm with proof of a reservation at Piste, or alternatively you can purchase a gondola ride and receive 2 for 1 drinks at the Deck @ Piste. Be sure to check the event/weather schedule to be sure it’s running. Grab a drink and appetizer or dinner at Piste Mountain Bistro, Off-Piste Market, or the Deck @ Piste.

Visit the Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve

The preserve is located four miles south of Moose on the Moose-Wilson Road.  This 1,106 acre refuge is located within Grand Teton National Park, featuring hiking trails, junior ranger programs and a visitor center.

Free Concerts in Teton Village

Check out the Grand Teton Musical Festival, located at Walk Festival Hall in Teton Village, and enjoy free, weekly family concerts through mid-August. Concerts are 1-hour casual events featuring kid-friendly music performed by world-class musicians. Concerts on the Commons are free concerts held outside in Teton Village on Sundays through mid-August.

Music on Main in Victor, ID

Every Thursday through mid-August, Music on Main takes center stage in the town of Victor, ID. Victor is 25 miles from Jackson (just over the pass) but lots of folks from the Jackson area head over the hill on Thursdays to enjoy the music.
