Summer’s in full swing here in Jackson, and we’re gearing up for Summer Part 2, aka the second most bestest half of summer. If you were still looking for a reason to come visit (aside from the amazing weather, awesome events, load of activities…well you get the idea) let us give you a few:
Friday Night Bikes in Teton Village takes place every Friday June 14 – August 30, 2019, from 5 – 7pm. Enjoy 50% off guides, $10 lift tickets, 50% off bike rentals from JH Sports and food and drink specials at the Tin Can Cantina.
Looking for a little solitude and reflection? The Laurance S Rockefeller Preserve provides a special opportunity to connect with nature in an environment designed to reduce congestion. It’s a little off the beaten path, and not as well known as many other areas in Jackson Hole. Take a hike to Phelps Lake, where you can take a chilly swim, cast a line for a mountain lake trout or just have a seat and take it all in.
Check off your bucket list with the chance to capture a shot of moose, bear and more in their natural habitat. Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris is a guide-owned tour company, with a mission to provide the highest quality wildlife tours and photo safaris anywhere.
More than 20 downtown galleries open the doors to evening strollers during the Third Thursday ArtWalk. This is a free monthly affair from 5 to 8pm, where gallery goers can experience a variety of artwork throughout downtown Jackson.
With 3 different concert series going on throughout summer in Jackson Hole, there’s always a live show to catch.

Few destinations in the world measure up to Jackson Hole when it comes to fly fishing. The combination of beautiful scenery, legendary blue ribbon trout streams and accessibility for all ski levels puts Jackson Hole at the top of any angler’s bucket list. Your best bang for your buck is a full day float down one of our area rivers, where 2 fishermen can comfortably fish as you drift downstream. There are a number of guide services in the Valley that provide expert service, and all the gear you need.
