Event Spotlight: Kings & Queens Of Corbet’s

The 2022 Kings and Queens of Corbet’s is back: February 12-18, 2022

The annual Kings & Queens invitational event pits the world’s top skiers, riders and select local rippers against each other. As they compete for the title, “King or Queen of Corbet’s,” each competitor is granted two runs down the iconic Corbet’s Couloir with only the best run counting toward the grand prize. Kings & Queens of Corbet’s brings together some of the world’s best action sports networks, brands and athletes and is sponsored by GoPro, Smartwool, GORE-TEX, YETI, Sweet Protection and Nature Valley.

Viewing will be available via the Kings & Queens livestream on the JHMR website. Make sure to tune in LIVE to Red Bull TV once they are a GO for competition so you don’t miss any of the action. The competition is sure to feature incredible feats of skill, and when it’s all said and done, one man and one woman will be crowned this year’s King and Queen of Corbet’s.

Held in a similar format to many surf competitions, Kings & Queens of Corbet’s will be held within a weather window where the contest day will be chosen when the conditions are optimal for the event and athletes. This year’s competition window is February 12-18, 2022.

JHMR will update the status of the event each afternoon during the competition window on their website here and on JHMR’s social channels the day prior to the event. Viewing of the event will take place below Corbet’s Couloir, in Tensleep Bowl, and the competition is expected to start at 10 am.  JHMR wants to remind spectators; there is no beginner or intermediate terrain from the spectator venue down to the bottom of the mountain. All spectators will be asked to comply with all of JHMR’s COVID-19 protocols.
