How to Celebrate the 4th of July the Jackson Hole Way

7:30am-10:30am – Street Breakfast

Get up early and follow the tantalizing aroma to downtown Jackson. It’s a great way to start the 4th of July with pancakes, sausages, scrambled eggs and more. Breakfast will be set up on Deloney Street off of Town Square. This is a favorite annual fundraiser for the Lions Club and it brings the locals and visitors together for a real sense of community. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for kids; free for kids under age 4. The Jackson Hole Community Band will be there to provide the music.

10:30am – 4th of July Parade

Come join us as Jackson celebrates the 4th of July with authentic western flair! Enjoy music, classic cars, and of course horses! The parade starts at 10:30am from the Teton County Fairgrounds, and travels down Snow King Avenue to Glenwood, turning on Broadway, and ending on Willow Street. Anywhere along the parade route is a great place to be so come early and grab your spot.

6:00pm – Town Square Shootout

Downtown Jackson is the perfect backdrop for a shootout! Best described as a “lively reenactment of frontier justice”, the Jackson Hole Shootout has been a Wyoming tradition since 1957. It’s estimated that over 4 million people have seen the show, so don’t miss it!

8:00pm – Jackson Hole Rodeo
The Rodeo has been a part of Jackson Hole’s cowboy culture since the first settlers arrived over 100 years ago and it’s just as exciting as ever. The July 4th week is a great time to attend as there will be a Rodeo each night at 8:00pm July 3-6, located at the Teton County Fairgrounds. Get your tickets now and cheer on these hard working cowboys and cowgirls!

10:00pm – The Grand Finale

Everyone’s favorite part of July 4 starts at 10:00pm. You can enjoy a fireworks show at two locations: the base of Snow King Mountain in the town of Jackson and at the base of the Tetons in Teton Village at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. And here’s a special Jackson treat…you can also enjoy fireworks a day early on July 3 in the Village!

So come to Jackson and enjoy the day. It’s an Independence Day celebration you don’t want to miss!
